Do Crows Have Funerals?   Crows Understand Analogies
When a crow dies, other crows often gather in eerie silence. These "crow funerals" are being investigated by scientists using both Halloween masks and brain scanning technology.   An analogy means being able to spot similarities and make comparisons, such as "A wing is to a bird as a fin is to a fish." New research shows that crows can understand analogies. Watch the video, in which the crow is comparing the middle card to the ones on the sides.
